This web site is a family archive set up by me. Why did I call it Ocean24, well why not. One of my hobbies is sailing and quite a few pictures in the galleries relate to boats and sailing.I am also fascinated by the way we can use the internet to collaborate. Professionally I have an interest in Open Source Software, Internet Telephony and Groupware, most often running on GNU/Linux operating systems. If you want to know more visit Cat24.net

Image Gallery
The image gallery holds many pictures relating to my family, extended over generations by marriage. Part of the reason for this site was to provide a family resource for old black and white prints that my parents built up over many years. So part of the gallery is scanned images that have historical significance for me.Caroline and Trevor's wedding is pre-eminent this year (2007). Other recent photos cover holidays in Scotland and the USA. Mostly mountains, lakes, lochs and big open spaces.

All the images on this site are copyright. The images will usually be stamped with the site name, the copyright belongs to the family member who took the pictures or supplied the images. You are welcome to print the image so long as the copyright notice remains attached.
